Alright, I learned a lot this weekend from Writing Day Workshop in Michigan. I got to meet Brian Klems who is one of the main people putting the workshop together. Great guy btw. Check out his book Oh Boy, You're Having a Girl: A Dad's Survival Guide to Raising Daughters It was very informative and I plan on attending another one.
I pitched a few agents in person at this event and they were amazing individuals. Very formidable people (in a good, respectable way.)
This website will be dedicated to writing reviews of books I have read. I read all kinds of books. I hope that one of the books I review you check out. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
No two people read the same book the same way. And no one person reads the same book the same way twice.
LITERARY AGENTS: Hey, for those of you that are literary agents trying to get a feel for who I am, welcome. I would love to make a connection with you. I am open to edits and fixes. No story has only one way to be written. I can be awkward in person and I dislike small talk (I'm not good at it).
I like all sorts of genres and currently I have been reading a lot of non-fiction. Subliminal by Leonard Mlodinow was a great read. On my TBR are Japanese folktales (the scary kind), alpha wolf romances, historical romances (genre will never die for me), a book written by a noble woman from about the tenth century.
My favorite book is The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Bronte.
If you want to chat about anything (hopefully something interesting), please feel free to contact me.
My years of working on film sets has taught me a thing or two about respecting ones job and to separate business and pleasure.
My instagram page is private because there are crazy people out there. (You know who you are.)
Also, I love a good Irish Goodb....
